Hi, I am Michele Kelley a retired Marine Mammal trainer and former head of the Louisiana Marine Mammal and sea turtle rescue program.  In 2011 my family moved to Orange Beach, AL and in 2012 I retired from marine mammal work.  I went on to volunteer for Dauphin Island Sea lab for a few years.  I made the decision to completely retire from marine work and focus more on my health and my family.  I turned to fitness, becoming a personal trainer and a yoga teacher.  I received my first yoga certification in person in a yoga studio.  Then, I went to do another 200 certification online.  As my yoga teaching progressed I finally began to truly understand yoga, that it is not just about the pose but instead it is way of living.  I believe in yoga on the mat but also off the  mat.  The philosophy of yoga can help you deal with life issues.  The pose is used to focus your mind on you, but as you move forward, the meditation, and breath work that goes with pose can be used off the mat with great benefits to you and the environment around you.
